The 67th Annual Golden Globes Awards

People like how I write women. I could never write women if it wasn’t for my wife. You are the fuel to my creative fire, Michele. I love you, thank you. — Writer and director Jason Reitman, accepting a screenplay award for his film, “Up in the Air.”

Penghargaan Golden Globes ke-67 kali ini benar-benar memberikan kejutan yang luar biasa dengan daftar para pemenangnya. Acara yang dilangsungkan di Beverly Hilton pada malam ini (17 Januari 2010 waktu setempat) mengukuhkan James Cameron sebagai sutradara terbaik, di luar dugaan mengalahkan para nominasi lainnya seperti Jason Reitman yang sepertinya lebih diunggulkan (gw sendiri menjagokan Quentin Tarantino). Acara yang dibawakan oleh komedian asal Inggris “Ricky Gervais” ini juga menobatkan Avatar sebagai film terbaik tahun ini. Pertanyaannya  sekarang apakah Golden Globes masih akan menjadi acuan untuk nominasi/pemenang di ajang penghargaan yang lebih bergengsi yaitu OSCAR? Mari kita sama-sama menunggu.
