82nd Annual Academy Award Nominations

Golden Globe sudah berlalu dan “kejutan”nya sudah mulai terlupakan. Kali ini giliran Oscar untuk tampil dan merebut perhatian, apakah ajang penghargaan paling prestisius yang nanti dibawakan oleh duo Steve Martin dan Alec Baldwin ini juga akan memberikan kejutan-kejutan bagi movie-lover di seluruh dunia? hmmm. Anne Hathaway mengumumkan nominasi untuk Academy Award ke-82 pada Selasa, 2 Februari pukul 5.30 pagi waktu setempat (20.30 WIB), bertempat di Samuel Goldwyn Theater Beverly Hills.

Oscar tahun ini jelas begitu berbeda, tengok saja jumlah nominasi untuk film terbaik yang sekarang berjumlah 10 (untuk pertama kalinya setelah 66 tahun), memungkinkan untuk “The Blind Side” dan “District 9” untuk bisa menyusup ke jajaran film terbaik tahun ini. “Avatar” berbagi 9 nominasi bersama dengan “The Hurt Locker”. Persaingan ketat di kursi sutradara terbaik sedikit berubah, jika pada Golden Globe terdapat nama Clint Eastwood (Invictus), Oscar kali ini memilih Lee Daniels (Precious) untuk masuk ke barisan nominasinya. Apakah James Cameron punya peluang mendapatkan Oscar tahun ini? Bagaimana dengan Sandra Bullock, apakah ia juga akan mendapatkan Oscar untuk Aktris terbaik setelah sebelumnya sukses memboyong Golden Globe? Mari kita tunggu bersama pada 7 Maret 2010.
